Antenna Music Series
at Major Cineplex Chiangmai

Antenna originated as a regular screening of the latest cutting edge
music videos from the UK and interviews with directors of some of these videos, in the National Film Theatre, London.

We now have a series of four screenings of Antenna which we can show in Chiang Mai. Each screening includes around 10 music videos which demonstrate a breadth of creativity which should spark interest and debate among film students, digital animators and film directors in Thailand.

At the end of each screening there is a recorded interview with one of the UK directors which we have subtitled in Thai.

The British Council, Chiang Mai would like to screen these shows regularly in Thailand, in both Bangkok and Chiang Mai. We have secured the agreement of Major Cineplex Airport Plaza to show them for free and we now have a schedule for these screenings, which you
can see below:

We anticipate that after each screening we will have a discussion session led by a Thai film director (to be confirmed) and someone to moderate the discussion and/or interview the Thai director.

It is intended that this will encourage the audience to discuss their own reaction to the screenings with the Thai film director and the moderator - opening up the discussion to the audience.
